The tubes

Most Nixie clocks show four digits. This one shows six, so the display is never still — the seconds run whether you are watching or not. All six are Soviet new old stock and sit in sockets, so a tube can be changed without soldering. No spare ships with this model; tested IN-12 tubes are sold separately.

The case

Fully transparent acrylic, low and horizontal. There is no wooden box hiding anything: the board, every wire and every pin stays visible, and in a dark room the numbers hang in the air. 17 × 7 × 7 cm.

Living with it

A blue LED underlight, an alarm, 12 or 24-hour format, and transition effects between digits. An anti-cathode-poisoning routine cycles the digits so they wear evenly and stay bright.

Built by hand in Kyiv and covered for twelve months: if a tube fails inside that year, the replacement is free.
