Soviet glass, never used, set in solid walnut and ash. Made in Kyiv and shipped free to the United States and Europe.

Sixty-year-old glass, in new wood

Four or six cold-cathode tubes made in the Soviet Union before the 1980s ran out, tested one at a time, and set into a case machined from solid walnut or ash and oiled by hand in Kyiv. Nothing about the light is simulated: it is gas glowing behind glass, the way it was in 1975.

Every four-tube clock ships with a spare already in the box, and every clock is covered for twelve months: if a tube fails inside that year, the replacement is free.
