What it is
Soviet new old stock, made before the factories stopped and never used. The IN-18 is the largest of the Soviet Nixie tubes — the digit is tall enough to read from across a room, which is why it went into the clocks people remember. The Soviet factories stopped making it decades ago, so every one in circulation is that old.
Every tube is checked on a live board before it ships. What arrives is a working tube, not an unknown one out of a drawer.
Fitting it
Out with the old, in with the new — about a minute, no soldering and no technician. It fits socketed IN-18 clocks, including the IN-18 clocks we built.
